Waterville Public Library

Resume Tools

The Waterville Public Library suggests the following resources for developing a resume.

  • Attend the Job Search Lab provided every Tuesday, 10a-12p at the Waterville Public Library. The Job Search Lab is for job seekers of all backgrounds. You can get ideas to improve your job search, work on your resume/cover letter, and learn about education and training options available in our area. No appointment is necessary - just drop-in! Staffed by Augusta CareerCenter and New Ventures Maine.

  • Schedule an appointment to meet with Dana Hamilton, Employment Services Coordinator with Kennebec Valley Community Action Program. Dana is available to help job seekers navigate the job search resources in the Waterville region. Call the Library at 207.680.2603 or stop by the Information Services Desk to schedule an appointment to meet with Dana on a Tuesday.
  • Meet with a Maine Department of Labor's CareerCenter Consultant to see what they have to offer job seekers and employers! The MDOL CareerCenter's primary focus is to help facilitate, educate, prepare, and connect those seeking employment with employers. In eligible cases, the MDOL can provide financial assistance for training necessary to meet employment needs.
