Waterville Public Library

Ukuleles @ The Library on 2nd and 4th Thursdays each month!

August 21, 2014 • 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Our group welcomes first-timers, beginners and intermediates.  We play and sing traditional tunes and songs by folks like Johnny Cash, Woodie Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Ray Charles.    Coaching available, and there will be instruments to try if you don't have your own.

We agreed to move toward a common songbook, but still continue to glean songs from other sources.  The songbook used by many other Uke groups in Maine and elsewhere is "The Daily Uke, 365 Songs for Better Living" by Liz and Jim Beloff.
