Join us as we kick off a new series of after-school hands-on science programs with special guests from Colby College!  

Glue From Nature!

"Blue mussels cling to rocks so they don't wash away.  Flies get caught in spider webs because of strong natural adhesives.  Join Colby chemistry students in harnessing their inner mussels and spiders by making strong, sticky glue from natural products."

Recommended for kids 7 and up.  Younger kids will need to bring a grownup helper.  As with any experiment, everyone must follow the safety rules!
