Library Closed for Repair Work Following 12/17/16 Flood

January 25, 2017 • All day

The Waterville Public Library will be closed January 25-January 31, 2017. The closure is due to reconstruction work necessary following unexpected water damage from a burst frozen pipe on December 17, 2016. Flooring and woodwork in the Library’s entryway and lobby, ruined by several inches of standing water, will be replaced from January 25-January 31, 2017. Checked out materials due between 1/25/17-1/31/17 will be extended to Wednesday, February 1, 2017. The Waterville Public Library will have a book return and pick-up station in Waterville City Hall, 1 Common Street, Waterville, ME. This station will be staffed and open 10a-5p, Wednesday-Friday, 1/25/17-1/27/17 and Monday-Tuesday, 1/30/17-1/31/17. Patrons will be able to return items and get items ready for pick-up at the City Hall location. Patrons may place holds by stopping by the station during open hours, calling 207.872.5433, or making requests online through the Library catalog: http://minerva.maine.edu/search~S41/.
