There a lot of wonderful free services being provided online alongside our usual offerings and we want to make sure you find the ones you want and need! This will be a constantly growing list of resources that can be found around the web, all free and open to everyone. This list is constatly growing, so keep checking it for new and fresh ideas!

Remember that while the physical building might not be open, but you can still check out ebooks and audiobooks with your Waterville Public Library card through the CloudLibrary app and website!

 

The Digital Maine Library provides every resident of Maine with access to online resources that include a collection of full text articles and abstracts from magazines, newspapers, journals and reference. It also provides students, business people, public library patrons, and higher education students and educators the ability to use online learning tools.

  • Scistarter.org  - "SciStarter is an online community dedicated to improving the citizen science experience for project managers and participants.  Over 3,000 projects and events are searchable by location, scientific topic, and age level, and by joining SciStarter, members can track their contributions and provide valuable feedback.  SciStarter also supports researchers in managing projects, including best practices for engaging participant partners."
  • NASA At-Home is offering STEM (short Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) tutorials and activities for children and adults!
