Waterville Public Library
$400,000 MATCHING CHALLENGE GRANT
The Harold Alfond Foundation has given the Library a $400,000 matching challenge grant. This money will be used to complete the expansion and renovation of the library and for new furnishings, equipment, and new programs. This money will also allow for the continued development of a Business & Career Center. The Harold Alfond Foundation will match every $1 raised with $2, up to $300,000! If the Library raises that money by January 15, 2011, the foundation will give the library an additional $100,000! Every dollar helps and your support is greatly appreciated.
