Waterville Public Library

2021 Summer Reading Pre-Registration has BEGUN!

Waterville Public Library’s summer reading program, running June 17 to August 19, has gone wild with the animal theme Tails & Tales"!

Pre-registration opens June 1, 2021!

Have you “herd” about it? We know that reading is its own reward, but you can earn prizes when you record your reading. Now that is something to “crow” about! It’s almost time to join in on the fun! The challenges have not yet opened, but you can still create an account in preparation.

Sign up through Beanstack:

1. Go to: https://watervillelibrary.beanstack.org/

2. Create a user account and add reader accounts for each person participating.

3. Log minutes read and activities done to unlock electronic badges!

Our challenges measure minutes spent reading or being read to. Read what you enjoy best, be it graphic novels, newspapers, magazines, books, e-books, audio books and record it in your Beanstack account. Don’t have a computer or smart phone? Paper logs will be available, too! Participants of all ages, from toddlers to adults, benefit from reading at least 10 – 20 minutes a day.

Are you a fierce competitor? Challenge your “pod” of family and friends to have a reading race. Everyone who completes all three reading goals is automatically registered for a grand prize drawing in their age bracket to be held at the end of the program.

Read + Record = Reward! Easy peasy, summer breezy!
