Waterville Seed Library Launches on Friday, April 15, 2022

The Waterville Public Library is proud to announce the 2022 launch of the Waterville Seed Library on Friday, April 15, 2022! This entirely free public resource features 24 different varieties including tomato, pumpkin, summer lettuce mix, green beans and more. Beginning at 8a on Friday, April 15, 2022 and while supplies last, orders for seeds can be placed online via a form on the Waterville Seed Library website available at https://sites.google.com/view/watervilleseedlibrary/ or by calling the Library at 207.872.5433. To enhance the opportunity for others to access this resource, seed requests are limited to 10 packets or less per grower. Growers will be notified by email or phone when seed orders have been filled and are available for pick up at the Waterville Public Library.

Virtual Homeschool Hub Session (via Zoom): "What is a Seed Library"
Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 1p-2p
Colby Student, Kai Goode, will explain how the seed library works. Then join in virtually while we make a biodegradable newspaper planter for your own basil plant! A craft kit will be available for pick up at the Library by Friday, April 8th, for those who register. Registration is required. This will be a live event and will not be recorded.
